Previous Design

1️⃣ Image Overload & Weak Visual Guidance

  • Users were shown all product images upfront, requiring them to manually click through multiple photos.

  • Without a clear visual hierarchy, users were overwhelmed and often lost their shopping flow.

2️⃣ Confusing Purchase Options

  • Two purchase methods were available (“Fast Shipping” vs. “Lowest Price”), and they changed dynamically based on stock.

  • This inconsistency led to confusion and reduced trust in the purchase decision.

3️⃣ Variant Selection Not Reflected in Images

  • The product offered multiple variations (color, package type), but the selected options did not update the displayed product image.

  • Users were uncertain whether they were buying the correct variation, increasing hesitation and drop-off.

Current Design

1️⃣ Clear and Scannable Product Imagery

Users can easily browse product images across all screen sizes.
The selected image is highlighted with a visible stroke, helping users understand their current view without losing orientation.

2️⃣ Increased Purchase Confidence with Shipping Clarity

A “Ship today (purchase before 2 PM)” alert message was added to reinforce urgency and encourage faster purchase decisions, contributing to higher conversion rates.

3️⃣ Visual Feedback for Product Variations

Product images now dynamically update based on selected options (color, package type).
This ensures users can visually confirm their selection, reducing errors and hesitation during checkout.
